Diamonds of Wonder™

Diamonds that Give Back

A portion of the proceeds from every diamond in our Diamonds of Wonder™ collection is donated to The Dow Academy Trust in Mochudi, Botswana.

The trust ensures that children have access to quality, affordable education which can be hard to come by in rural Botswana.

The director, Cheshe Dow’s dream is for all children to have a safe education and for their mothers – 80% of whom are single mothers –  to have access to safe childcare so they can earn a living.

In 2025, Diamonds of Wonder made it possible for 15 children to attend preschool for 2 years!

Natural & Ethical

Diamonds are tracked from mine to R.F. Moeller Jeweler. Guaranteed to be conflict free; non-Russian origin; natural and untreated.

Diamonds & Botswana
Ms. Dow shared with us that, to the people of Botswana, the relationship with diamonds is more about what the diamonds are for their communities.

Natural diamonds are the reason they have:
◆  Roads ◆  Healthcare
◆  Education ◆  Running Water
◆  Electricity ◆  Wildlife Conservation

Anatomy of a Diamond

Cut

Light reflections of a diamond.

Impact of Cut

Color

With the exception of fancy colored diamonds, color refers to the absence of color.

Fun Fact: The better a diamond is cut, the less the eye perceives color.

Clarity

Clarity grades are based on 4 factors:
Size // Color // Type // Location

Carat Weight

Carat is the measure of a diamond’s weight, not size.

It’s the least important factor in determining the brilliance and beauty (and therefore value) of the diamond.
