Mokume Gane, (pronounced Moe-koo-may Gah-nay) is an ancient Japanese metalsmithing technique developed by master swordsmiths in feudal Japan.

The word Mokume means "wood-grain metal", referring to the unique pattern the different metals create. Crafting a Mokume piece is a lengthy process by which layers of various metals are fused together using high pressure and heat, and further manipulated by rolling the metal to create unique patterns.
Each creation is one of a kind!
